An exhibition exploring the mythic figure Arachne—renowned for her unrivaled weaving skills and punished for revealing the hidden injustices of the Greek gods.
The show presents over 130 works by artists who reinterpret Arachne’s defiant spirit through fiber, thread, weaving, crochet, and embroidery, framing her myth as a metaphor for contemporary craft.
Among the 25 participating artists, Jaewon Paek contributed work reflecting the structural tension, precision, and subversive labor embedded in Arachne’s legacy.
