『Broken』은 은 체인으로 제작된 대형 귀걸이 형태의 설치 작업이다.
완결된 장신구이지만, 귀가 아닌 공중에 매달린다.
기능을 이탈한 장신구는 오히려 더 선명하게 조형의 본질을 드러낸다.
샹들리에의 잔해처럼 설치된 귀걸이들은 중력과 장력, 공간의 움직임에 따라 끊임없이 흔들리고 변형된다.

나는 이 작업에서 장신구가 어떻게 기능의 문맥을 벗어나
조형의 언어로 재배치될 수 있는지를 실험한다.
손은 이 구조를 설계하지만, 중력과 우연성, 공간의 물리적 흐름이 그 형상을 결정한다.
형태는 완성되지 않고, 유예된 채 공간 속에서 계속 발생한다.

“Broken” is an installation work composed of large-scale earrings crafted from sterling-silver chains.
Although they are complete pieces of jewelry, they do not hang from the ear.
Suspended in midair, they abandon their function—only to reveal the essence of their form more clearly.

Like the remnants of a shattered chandelier, the earrings sway and deform continuously, responding to gravity, tension, and the movement of space.

In this work, I examine how jewelry can step outside its functional context and be re-situated as a sculptural language.
The hand initiates the structure, but gravity, chance, and the physical flow of the environment ultimately determine its shape.
The form never settles into completion; instead, it remains suspended—ongoing, deferred, and continually unfolding within the space.
