Title
bury : brooch
Overview
Buried brooches turn wearing into a quiet form of excavation.
As the piece meets the body—pressed and shifted by movement—its partially exposed fragments reveal hints of what lies beneath the cemented surface.
Series Statement
Body heat, pressure, and friction interact with buried chains and residues, allowing hidden structures to surface through cracks and polished edges.
Each brooch becomes a small landscape where what is covered and what emerges remain in constant tension.
Materials & Techniques
- Stainless steel chain / fragments / frame
