『Veil』는 체인과 금속으로 구성된 바디 오브제로,
얼굴, 팔, 다리, 어깨 등 신체의 다양한 부위를 가린다.
시야를 차단하고 감각을 교란하는 이 장신구는, 단순한 장식이 아니라 감각적 장치다.
흐릿한 시야는 오히려 더 선명한 직관을 부른다.

장신구의 스케일은 통상적인 기준을 넘어서며,
몸 위에 얹힌 조형으로 존재한다.
체인은 착용자의 움직임에 따라 유동적으로 반응하고,
중력과 마찰에 의해 형상이 바뀐다.
나는 이 움직임을 통제하지 않는다.
손은 흐름의 기점을 만들 뿐, 형태는 흐름 속에서 결정된다.

『Veil』는 보는 방식이 아니라 느끼는 방식으로 조형을 전환한다.
가림은 은폐가 아니라, 더디게 도달하는 인식의 방식이다.
감각은 지연되고, 시선은 멈춘다.
이 망설임 속에서만 형상은 스스로 떠오른다.

“Veil” is a body object composed of chains and metal,
concealing various parts of the body—
the face, arms, legs, and shoulders.
By obstructing vision and unsettling perception,
this piece becomes not a decoration but a sensory device.
Blurred sight, paradoxically, invites sharper intuition.

Its scale exceeds that of conventional jewelry,
occupying the body as a sculptural presence.
The chains respond fluidly to the wearer’s movement,
their form shifting with gravity and friction.
I do not control this movement.
The hand merely initiates the flow;
the final shape emerges within the motion itself.

“Veil” transforms the act of seeing into the act of sensing.
Concealment is not erasure,
but a slower mode of recognition.
Perception stalls; the gaze hesitates.
Only within this delay
does the form reveal itself on its own.
